Conducted in five public schools in the region of Tremembé (São Paulo), the Juventudes: Educação e Transformação (‘Youth: Education and Transformation’) project addresses issues affecting local youth, benefiting 154 people between the ages of 14 and 18.

The Previna-se (‘Prevent’) project educates children, adolescents, educators, and families about sexuality, preventing early pregnancy, STIs, gender issues, gender identity, and various forms of violence and abuse, impacting the lives of over 540 children and adolescents aged 6-15.

Focused on premature babies and children with intellectual disabilities, the project guides families and social interventions for about 150 children. It focuses on constructing (and reconstructing) individual and collective experiences both within the family and society.

The Ferramentas para o Mundo do Trabalho (‘Tools for the Workplace’) project looks to boost employability and young people’s incomes via digital inclusion and by developing socio-emotional skills aligned with trends in the workforce.

The Formação Pelo Esporte (‘Formation Through Sport’) project harnesses the power of sport as a way to strengthen the value of education. In 2023, the project served 40 public schools, offering basketball and handball training after school hours.

The Uma Vitória Leva à Outra (‘One Victory Leads to Another’) project strengthens the leadership skills of teenage girls aged 12-18, enhancing their abilities to influence decisions that impact their lives.

The Destemidas (‘Fearless’) project promotes the potential of girls and young women by focusing on women’s health issues, providing medical care, and stimulating personal development.

Established in Campinas (São Paulo), the Mattos Filho Street Football Center applies an educational approach rooted in the concept of sport as a catalyst for human development. It also seeks to boost teaching and learning initiatives that complement those within Brazil’s formal education network.

The Amparo ao Idoso (‘Support for the Elderly’) project funds the treatment of elderly patients at the Hospital do Amor, a cancer treatment center in the state of São Paulo. In addition to oncological treatment, the hospital supports patients’ families with accommodation, daily meals, and initiatives to help them cope with and humanize their situations.

The Melhor Cuidado aos Idosos (‘ Better Care for the Elderly’) project seeks to boost quality, control and efficiency within the processes of the Sistema Único de Saúde, Brazil’s public health system. In particular, it focuses on improved patient service, research, innovation, and spreading knowledge and awareness of how the system works.

Through the É Preciso Saber Viver e Envelhecer (‘Knowing How To Live as You Age’) program, socially vulnerable elderly individuals find a supportive environment where they receive care and engage in cultural and physical activities that foster stronger family bonds. The objectives of the program in 2023 included diversifying activities and promoting digital inclusion.
